History of Tim Plastics, Inc.

Tim Plastics, Inc. was established in 1985 in North East, Maryland by founder and president Sandy Patel. Prior to founding Tim Plastics, Sandy was employed by a national brand consumer product company as well as the U.S. Army. With degrees in both chemistry and chemical engineering, Sandy had a genuine passion and understanding of the intricacies needed to produce high quality plastic containers. When first opening its doors in 1985, Tim Plastics consisted of a single production machine and only produced high density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles for the prescription pharmaceutical industry. Since that time the company has vastly expanded to also serve the healthcare, food, beverage, spice, and personal care industries. Along with HDPE, the addition of multiple resin options including polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polypropylene (PP), has allowed Tim Plastics to cater to any container requirement. Furthermore, the establishment of an in-house state of the art mold design and manufacturing facility has enabled the company to provide personalized packaging solutions for almost every need. Over the past 35 years, the Tim Plastics senior leadership has guided the company through great change and expansion. Through operational excellence and unwavering drive to improve productivity, Tim Plastics, Inc. has been able to maintain its position as a leading manufacturer of quality plastic bottles and jars.
